Emanuele Monduzzi’s farewell to beach volley

RAVENNA (RA) 01/09/2025.

Emanuele Monduzzi (ITA) will attend to FIVB Beach Pro Tour Future event going to be staged in Poland this week in Warsav. Following 30 years of beach volleyball career around the world, it’ll be last tournament ever for the italian player who played his first international event in Durban (South Africa) last 1996. Emanuele Monduzzi will play this tournament with Sasha Siedykh starting from qualification tournament.

 

“I have met three generations of beachers and I was a witness how beach volleyball developes itself since Olympic Games first edition in Atlanta. My career was practically ended in 2018 but I was still playing just because I loved too much this game. Now it’s time to quit.”

 

Emanuele Monduzzi, birth year 1970, started playing international events in 1996. Best results were 5th place in Fivb Futures (2001 Beirut Lebanon) and 9th place in Fivb Futures (2001 Pfaffikon Switzerland). Best world ranked position was 202° in 2001. He played in more than 50 international events across most iconic venues of the tour as Klagenfurt, Gstaad, Doha, Sydney etc.

Now he’s President and Founder of PowerBeach, one biggest sport company in Italy fully dedicated to beach volleyball with more than 2.000 members on italian East Coast and involved in the organization of international camps & events as well.
